Client: Generations Group HomesGenerations Group Homes is a wonderfully unique, one-of-a-kind non-profit organization located near Simpsonville, South Carolina. They are a home that gives second chances to boys ages 10-19 who have been emotionally, physically and/or sexually abused. It has become a place of service for us and a continual source of encouragement. After getting to know Roseanne Brown, Generations' Development Coordinator, helping with building an up-to-date image for the good of the program was just a natural next step in our volunteering. Here are a few examples of the kinds of improvements we've been able to make over the past two years.
The client, Generations Group Homes, had been doing everything "in-house". We developed a color palette using their logo green as a base and added a warm orange and brown. Not only are the colors appealing, but they are colors a boy would like. And in working with Generations I always use the phrase... "it's about the boys". This is the tri-fold brochure... the beginning.
GenerationsGroup.com was given a facelift in 2008. Not only does the site have a better overall appearance, but it's working for the client. They are getting more referrals and able to use it to facilitate on and off-campus tours. The new colors and custom photography are a huge improvement from the previous cold, blue color and stock imagery. The new site provides a way for users to get to really know the boys at Generations through their stories and photos.
The Second Chances newsletter is an important way to keep in touch with supporters and volunteers. The new look & feel just brings it to a whole new level.
The business card they were using didn't display their logo or color scheme where the new card speaks to their identity in a more professional way.
